The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission is established according to the provisions of Article 5 of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (Establishment and Responsibilities) Law of 2001 as a public entity. The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission is administrated by a five-member Board, which is composed by the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and three other Members. The Chairman and Vice-Chairman perform their services in full and exclusive employment and they may not hold any other position or office in the Republic or hold other salaried employment.
